Required Skills
Working as QA for at least one Windows client-server application. Should have experience in testing Windows apps for local users, as well as domain users.
Working as a QA for a SAAS/Web-Based product with OS-native companion apps.
Should have an acceptable understanding of using tools such as Event Viewer to monitor and extract tools.
Should have an acceptable understanding of Windows installers like .exe, MSIs, and dependencies
Should have experience in using JIRA and Confluence.
Hands-on experience with QA practices, with experience in white and black box testing.
Beyond identifying the issues, you should be able to triage the issues using the various tools and logging mechanisms.
Able to generate clear, concise test plans and execute them using the available tools and work in an agile setup
Nice to Have Skills
Ability to write Powershell scripts
Experience in the UEM/MDM domain or Remote Management tools (RMM) on Windows and other platforms.
An understanding of Windows registry editor, Active Directory, SCCM, and GPO policies
Job Description
Work in the capacity of manual QA on Scalefusion’s offerings across platforms, with a primary focus on the Windows platform.
You will be required to understand the requirements and derive functional and performance test cases.
Working with the wider team to estimate and execute QA cycles in a timely and efficient manner
Create comprehensive and crystal-clear documentation, test cases, test plans, and other artifacts that will be used for internal and external consumption
Working with multiple platforms and domain-specific tools and software to perform the testing.
Be an excellent team player with the ability to work as an individual contributor with minimal direction.
Work with the internal customer-facing teams to help them resolve the queries coming from the field. If required, you should be able to join customer calls.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in the English language with the ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
Requires you to work in a highly technical and agile environment with a results-driven but empathetic team and an ability to learn new technologies.
